Using a Minimalist Planner for Maximum Productivity

Step 1

The night before or in the morning grab your favorite pen, your planner and a good space for you to focus.


Step 2

Write down your top priorities. Keep it simple and intentional. What are your top priorities to keep you focused on your larger important goals?


Step 3

Write your appointments, today's to dos and tomorrow's to dos. Do not overload your planner. Stop and think. What is truly realistic for me to accomplish? What can I let go? What can be pushed out?

Step 4

Fill in your hourly tracker using the information you've already written down. Then look at it! Does it make sense? Is it achievable? Are my tasks in line with my top priorities and then my larger priorities and goals in life? If it's a heck yeah then get ready to have a kick ass day!

Step5

Check-in! Cross items off your list, write down what you did that was super awesome and then on the flip side write down what could have been done better.

Rinse and repeat!

The important part is to keep it simple and focus. Apply this tactic for 30 days and you will be amazed at what you can achieve. Keep going and you will truly become a master of your time!

A: Absolutely! All 3 simple self planners have space for notes so you can jot down some ideas or expand upon a certain task or priority. I tend to doodle so you can do that too :-)

Q: What is the size of your planners?

A: All 3 of our planners are 6x9 inches in size and 120 total pages. They are soft cover. The hard cover version is available on Amazon as well.

Q: Why Not Make Your Minimalist Planners So They Last All Year?

A: We tried it and it was too bulky and not practical. 120 pages is the sweet spot for a handy, portable planner. You will notice other daily planners that are yearly either do not have enough space or are humongous. That is not our bag. We actually want you to find these useful.

A: Absolutely yes. We both do! Our Flow Productivity Journal is used for our business planning. We meet each Sunday and walk through the week.
